On March 3, 2012 at 3 pm the first chapter get together was held at Cindy's home. It was fun getting to meet new people. For some of us it was a step out of comfort zones. Each guest received a Mason jar with surprises inside and were asked to re-purpose the jar in some way.
The next meeting time and activity was also decided upon.
Just yesterday April 14, we had our second meeting. We met at Arlene's home. Of course I was so excited to go and see my new best friends.
Time for a sad note, Janet wasn't feeling well and could not join us.
"Hey, Janet!" we missed you and hope you are feeling better.
Of course Elizabeth and Cindy fell in love with Arlene's home, it is a converted church. Eileen and Elizabeth made some great salads. We exchanged some fabric and came up with some great ideas.
Our next get together will be on Saturday, May 19 at 10:30 am. This will be a breakfast/brunch potluck and we will be making a t-shirt scarf. We will be meeting at Teresa's home. If you want to make a scarf please bring a t-shirt, old or new doesn't matter. Also bring something to share for breakfast.
